About the Project
A Grade II listed farmstead on the Shropshire ridge had accumulated two centuries of agricultural additions that had gradually enclosed and forgotten the original courtyard. Our work stripped back the later accretions, restored the courtyard to its original proportions, and reintroduced it as the heart of the house — a room without a roof, connecting kitchen, sitting room, and garden in a single gesture.
